Bio

Cris Burkhalter Photography LLC. provides high quality Architectural & Interior photography for a varied clientele, and the images produced are used in advertising & marketing nationwide.

Cris has been a professional Architectural Photographer for 16 years now, serving a growing national client list. In 1995, he began embracing the Web & digital photographic technologies, and now almost every job produced incorporates some facet of digital production.

His work has won numerous awards from the design industry, and he is known for his use of bright colors and stark symmetry. Cris taught himself the better points of Photoshop & web design, and has put it all to very good use.

As a member of the Board of Directors of the Michigan chapter of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), Cris has done his best to help educate other photographers entering the market, thereby ensuring a consistency in business practices.

PERSONAL

Cris and Debbie Burkhalter have been married for 12 yrs and are the proud parents of two wonderful little boys; Steven is 11 and Nicholas is 8. They live in a quiet lakeside neighborhood and enjoy boating, camping, hunting and fishing. Together, Cris & Deb (and some great friends!) built a log cabin retreat in the woods; something that attaches us to our past & reminds us to not take our modern, digital life for granted.

Cris' hobbies include watersports, carpentry, anything outdoors, brewing his own beer, and building & flying radio controlled airplanes (although the last two don't mix well...).
